Pages read this week: 150
Pages read total: 1370
As I continued to read (and finally finish) Goat, I quickly grew old of Brad. He continually would put himself down and just keep ranting about how bad he has it and that he will never be as perfect as his brother. I just got very tired of it all and was yearning to reach the last page of the book to put myself out of the misery. Brad and Brett eventually make it down to roll with the tigers at Clemson University, but I was too distracted by the severe lack of confidence that Brad possessed to really care.
I began to also read Chicken Soup for the Soul: My Dog's Life. When most of my friends discovered that was the book I was currently reading, they laughed at how ridiculous I was being. I'm a dog lover so of course I had to pick it up and read it. The entire book is 101 short stories about real people, dogs, and stories. It really makes me connect better to the book because they're all real and many of them are heart breaking (I sobbed multiple times while I was reading). I read the minimum amount this week because things have been so crazy with school, work, and everything in between.
