I am currently putting several books on hold at the library! The book I am currently reading, Running with the Buffaloes, is from the library and is due tomorrow. I was hoping to be able to renew it but unfortunately someone else has put a hold on it :/ I figured it was time to get a new book anyways so I'll finish that book up tonight and return it tomorrow. The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien
This is a good selection of books for me to try out and considering they're from the library, I'm never guaranteed a definite day of when I'll be able to get my hands on them so might as well get as many as I possibly can. I own The Hobbit but I laid a fast food cup with soda in it and it leaked through the cup and ruined the book. Oops... Already, this class has me excited to read some really good books and I hope I am motivated to read for the rest of the semester. Good sign, right? (below)
I love James Patterson! I've never heard of that specific book, but from reading his other books I can say he really has an enjoyable writing style. If you like his writing, I'd recommend the Maximum Ride series.
